Brooklyn and Zach

I just felt like doing a post on my baby and husband. I am so thankful i have them both. Brooklyn can brighten my day just by looking at me. She helps me feel needed and loved, she loves me unconditionally and all the time. Zach is such a great husband. He is always there to support me. He has been so great with Brooklyn. He takes care of her when ever I need a moment to myself or when I am working and he has a day off. He is such a dedicated dad. I love coming home and finding him playing with Brooklyn, sleeping next to Brooklyn, or rocking Brooklyn. He is great with her.

Here are just a few random pictures we've taken over the past week.

Happy Birthday to Jamie

Today was Jamie's 11th birthday! I can't believe that she is really that old. It seems like yesterday that she was in diapers running around the house with her thumb in her mouth and her crazy wild curly hair was going every which way.

Eleven things I love about Jamie

1. She is almost an exact replica of myself
2. Her cute little freckles on her cheeks
3. Her little curls/frizzies on the sides of her face
4. Her motherly instinct to help Jade with everything
5. Her cute little style, I especially love her shoe fetish lately (one day it's flats and the next it's killer heels)
6. Her photogenic smile and the poses the automatically she does when the camera comes out
7. How she likes to be held and snuggle
8. Her ability to forgive anyone for just about anything
9. Her DS skills ;)
10. Her cooking abilities (she makes great eggs)
11. That she is my lil sister

Happy Birthday Jamie!!!

These are just some funny photos we took before the party got really started!!

Cereal

Last night after putting Brooklyn to bed 2 times I decided we would try and give her some cereal so that she could be settled for the night. She didn't like the first bite, she made the funniest face. I don't know that she is quite ready for it though, half of it she spit out and only half went down. The doctor said that until they can eat it with out the weird bottle tongue reflex thing that it doesn't do them any good because they just make a mess and don't get enough in them to make a difference. He said after the first time if she isn't ready for it give it a week or two before trying again. I think we'll wait a week and try again.

I do have to say I'm quite impressed with the spoons they have come up with. These ones change color with temperature so you know if the cereal is too hot.

Easter Pictures

Her Easter Bunny basket was given to her by Great Grandma Day, she loved to try and eat it so we had to set it back a little. The Easter Bunny brought her a swimming suit with a matching sun hat and a few candies that Daddy enjoyed!!!

Easter

Happy Easter to everyone. I hope you all had a great day and enjoyed the semi nice weather. I will be posting pictures tommorrow probably. It was kind of a weird Easter because Brooklyn is too young to understand it all, Zach worked, and I am working. We did though have about a twenty minute celebration when Zach came home on his lunch break, at least we got that. For those of you that I'll be seeing tomorrow, can't wait. For those of you that I won't be seeing tommorrow hopefully it will be soon. HAPPY EASTER!!!

Shots 4 Months

Brooklyn had to have her Immunizations for four months. She did pretty well. She only cried when the needles went in and quit when they came out. She has been a little touchy about us moving her legs a whole lot but overall she is a great baby. In fact she has been so good that I keep joking with Zach that we are going to have TEN kids. he he ;)
I had to take pictures of her, she is so funny. This time they gave her three shots and three Barbie band aids! They were much cuter than the last ones we had.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! (a day later!)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I know I'm a day late but I still wanted to say it and share it. Look at our cute pictures we took yesterday. We all had green on!!!

I had to work and so Zach had Brooklyn. When I got home this is what I found on the couch... Super Sleepy Baby and Drowsy Dad! It was so cute I couldn't not take a picture. They didn't even wake up until I took Brooklyn and put her in her crib then I came back down to wake up Zach. I didn't know he could sleep so soundly, especially on the couch. I think the new work schedule he is on has been a little rough on all of our sleep schedules though.
