Her 1st Swim

On Monday it was such a nice day that we (Me, Mom, Jamie, Jade, and Brooklyn) decided to spend it outside. You would think we had enough sun after Rachel's wedding but we couldn't resist. The neighbor girl, Skylar, was swimming and invited us over so...
we ended up playing in the water.
Brooklyn absolutely loved it!!
The water was straight out of the hose and it was freezing but that didn't stop my little Brooklyn from splashing around in it!

Just relaxing in the baby pool.
Amy (Skylar's mom had this little baby pool, it was just perfect for Brooklyn)

She loved splashing around in the sprinkler. It was shaped like an octopus! She wanted to get closer and closer to it.

Isn't she a doll??

This was the 'big kid' pool. She enjoyed hanging over the side and splashing a little. At one point I thought she was going to dive in head first.

This is when I thought she was going to dive in!

Grass

Today was the first day that I let Brooklyn sit on the grass. She has touched it with her toes and hands before but never actually sat on the grass. She looked disgusted at first but then got used to it and was loving it. She likes to pull it out of the ground and look at it then grab another hand full. She is so funny. I love her to pieces.

Sitting...

Brooklyn has learned to sit up very well. The last few days we spent in Salt Lake with Zach's family she did very well sitting on her own. She is still a little tipsy going side to side though. Over all I'm quite impressed at how fast she is learning things. Another thing we have been doing the past week is letting her cry herself to sleep. The first few days were hard but now she is getting better about it. Nap time seems to be harder for her but Night time is easier. I'm a lot happier when she sleeps in her bed and so are her and Zach.
