28 weeks...7months!!

Tomorrow I will be 28 weeks pregnant, which doesn't really sound that significant seeming how there are a total of 40. I prefer to say I will be 7 months!!! Wow, this pregnancy really is flying by. I thought I would have all the time in the world to get ready but it's coming up fast! I have sorted clothes and that's about it. We still gotta find a perfect name, put the room together, figure out daycare, and the list goes on....

Mother's Day... a little late :)

So I didn't really get any good pictures of any mother's but I did get some pictures so that's an accomplishment. This year mother's day was different, I was expecting for Zach to go to work and I was really bummed, so bummed that he called in for me :) We spent most the day at my mom's house and then we were going to go to dinner but we were to exhausted so we rented a movie and stayed in.

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all the GREAT mother's I know.

These two girls are too funny. Esi loves to sit in the stroller when she is outside and Brooklyn decided she was gonna push her, no small feat seeming they are only about 3 lbs difference in weight. Boky pushed and pushed and pushed until Esi climbed over the top and tipped the stroller over, they are so funny when they play nice.

Our New Puppy...

`
~~ Gunner ~~

This is our new puppy Gunner. He is a mix between a Chocolate lab and a Wire hair pointer, but he looks like a German short hair, doesn't he? We got him on Friday May 21st, 2010 and so far so good. He hasn't had any accidents in the house but he sure has a crazy sleep schedule. Brooklyn loves him and Kiwi hates him. Here are a few pictures from our first weekend with our new puppy...

Garden...

Step 1: Build a 4X4 square

Step 2: Fill it with the dirt mixture

Step 3 & 4: Put the grid on and plant the plants!
(Step 5 will be to get the gravel around all the boxes)

We finally got our garden in! This year we decided to try out the square foot gardening and see how we do. Zach has been wanting to get it done for quite some time but it took me a while to get the "umph" to do it with him. It's been a week and no sprouts yet other than the peas we pre-planted in the house in little peat pots. I really hope it works out, we love VEGGIES!!

The things he says....

So the other night I was laying there cuddling next to Zach and he rolls over and says to me...

"Can you roll the other way? The baby is kicking me and I can't sleep."

And how does he think I feel? LOL, gotta love him!

P.S. At my 25 week appointment we found out I'm very anemic, that explains the naps I have been needing. The doc put me on iron supplements :( I was at a 9 and I should be between 12 and 14 (whatever that means) He says I will recover better after delivery if my iron is up. One more one month appointment and then we go every two weeks, I can't believe how fast this is going!

The things she says...

Grabs her "cell phone" and says:

"It's my friend mom.... Hello? I'm leaving 0 30 o'clock I have to go to the grocery. Can you keep an eye on Suzie? Yep, she's awake. "

Flowers...

I never posted pictures of my B-E-A-utiful, BEAUTIFUL flowers I got for my 23rd birthday! Thank you to Mom, Dad, Jamie, and Jade-o! They even lasted close to 3 weeks! I love getting surprise flowers :O)

"Dress Up"

This girl is a nut! This particular day we were getting ready to go out and do yard work and she would NOT get dresses, as per usual. She had to wear her PJ's, gloves, "robe," and duck shoes. Plus to top it all off she wouldn't get her hair done. She looked fabulous, right? LOL. I love this girl!

Marbles...

Lately Brooklyn has been finding all sorts of new things to play with, thanks to Zach bringing out a few child hood memory things. It's been great to see her little mind thinking about what types of things she can do with all these new things. One of my favorites so far are the marbles! She just found them today and has been playing with them all day long.

It's kind of hard to see them against her Tinkerbell blanket but there is a big pile of them.

Showing off her marbles

The toy daddy helped her make when he came hoe for lunch... OOBIE! Remember my Oobie post? If not click here

Brooklyn and Oobie

25 weeks today!

Well here we go...FINALLY! Belly pictures!
I like the second picture because Brooklyn walked in and said "momma what are you doing?" I told her I was taking pictures of baby sister and she just looked totally confused and then went on her way.

I am starting to need naps again, weird because there for a while I was doing so good with out them. I think it might be the exhaustion that comes from thinking about the lack of sleep I will be getting in the close future. Its weird to think that we are over half way done, I keep thinking I have time to get ready for this little one and yet it's just around the corner.

The past couple of weeks my "extra" cleaning things have included; changing the shower curtain and cleaning the rings, going through more baby stuff, shampooing the couches down stairs, reorganizing the cupboards in the kitchen, and I think that is about it. It's hard to clean EVERY day off so I'm taking a break today! Woohoo to procrastination!

Growing a Garden...

This year I have decided we are going to try and grow a garden. All the ladies at work are doing square foot gardening and it totally makes sense. Zach is such a sweetie and got the garden all ready; Boxes made and lined with weed barrier. The boxes have been ready for a while I guess I've just been lazy/nervous to get started. I am afraid that I will plant my plants and they will freeze with this crazy weather so I started them indoors and when the weather is consistent we will move them into the boxes outside. Any way, they started sprouting!! I'm amazed! (I know it doesn't take much) We are GROWING a garden! Yay! I wanted to post a picture...

The little sprouts in the front are my tomatoes and the bigger things in the back are peas! I'm so excited!
