Peek-a-Boo Brooklyn

Brooklyn and Zach are always goofing off together. Their newest thing is playing peekaboo while she is in the high chair. It's funny when I'm not feeding her but frustrating when I am feeding her and she is looking for her daddy under the high chair.

Peas and Beans

FOOD!!!

Brooklyn started eating actual baby food last week and I just haven't had time to blog it hence this late post....

Last Tuesday we started with green beans and she loved them. She was definitely ready for food. This week we are trying peas and she doesn't like them as well. It kind of surprised me because the peas are sweeter than the beans. Any ways she loves to eat them with cereal or with out. I almost think that we should have started eating solids sooner because she just chows down. Oh and if she isn't done eating you know because she throws a huge tantrum. I think she will be one of those kids who arches their back when they throw a fit. I'm a little scared.

She was so happy tonight after her dinner that I just let her stay in the high chair (that we got at kings!) for a little bit. She liked that I let her touch, actually play, with her spoon. She usually tries to grab it when I'm feeding her and then she smears the food every where. I think you can see in the pictures how messy she got tonight, she isn't usually that bad.

High Chair and Walker Time!

The walker was a fun toy for today. Brooklyn's feet don't quite touch the floor but she likes being able to sit up and be independent. She was getting a little frustrated when the toys wouldn't go in her mouth though and that was funny. It'll be a sad/fun/scary day when she starts actually wanting to walk.

Today at My mom's house we decided to try out the high chair. She loved it. We were eating dinner and she could see everything going on and was so excited about it. She would even giggle a little bit when we would start talking to her. The only down side about it was she kept throwing her toys on the floor. I can't wait until she can have finger food (like cheerios) so it will go in her mouth and I won't have to keep picking up toys.
