Flarp...

These are the types of moments that remind me that, yes, she is only two!

We usually let her just keep her flarp with her other special toys but after this experience I think it will be a "top-of-the-fridge" type toy. Would you believe she has had this same bottle of flarp for at least 4 months and this is our first tragedy?
Thank you to Jade-o who pointed it out to me. The total casualties included this chunk of her hair, my favorite Children's Place dress, and the down stairs couch.

Back in August (I know I'm a slacker) Brooklyn got her very first HAIRCUT!!! We are so lucky that Sarah was able to do it, it made me way less stressed. It went pretty well, she didn't like it at first so Sarah let me hold her while she made the finishing touches. Thanks Sarah!!!

Straight Hair

So I have tried straightening Brooklyn's hair and I think it kind of makes her look older. She absolutely hates her hair being done lately. I think it's because I'm getting lazier and lazier with her hair. It's sad I know. I only have two heads of hair to do and I'm a major slacker.

This Picture is kinda funny, the look on her face is like "another picture?"

I like this one minus my ugly butt in the background :) I love how she watches herself in the mirror, it's hilarious!

Apple Juice...

Thanksgiving was different this year (not only because I was away from home) because it was Brooklyn's first time eating real food at Thanksgiving! It was funny to watch her try and eat mashed potatoes by herself with her own spoon, try to hold on to an egg, and most of all 'bath' in her juice!

We put her down for a nap before Thanksgiving dinner started so that she would be a happy baby and when she woke up this is what she looked like... wet hair, grouchy, sticky, and sweet smelling. She had somehow gotten her apple juice in bed with her and it had leaked all over the place. She had already had her bath earlier in the day and was not happy that she had to have her hair washed twice because of the faulty sippy cup. It was funny though at first we all thought she just drooled a lot but it was obvious once we smelled her and saw the full extent of the wet hair it was APPLE JUICE!

Spider Web...

I bet you are all thinking of a nasty arachnid thing....
sorry to disappoint you! I am actually talking about the new hair style I tried on Boky!
She wasn't very cooperative (that's why she is in her high chair) but it turned out really cute. I think it is my new favorite way to do her hair. Let me know if you have any other ideas for me to try in her hair. Just Remember her hair is thin and long!

Not very pleased! This picture reminds of what I used to be thinking when my mom would do my hair SUPER tight!

Close up it looks perdy good!!

A Day Outside

Brooklyn and I spent a little time outside yesterday and these were the pictures I got. Not all of them are good ones, but she sure is cute in all of them. Watch for the picture where she is squinting, it's her newest thing lately.

Zach's "Hawk"

Two cool hair do's

In my last post I said that I would tell you more about Zach's hair. Well there's not a whole lot to tell but here it goes...

One night while I was working Zach called and told me he had made an appointment to go get his hair cut the next morning around eight. He said that he made that early so Brooklyn and I could sleep in. I jokingly said "As long as you don't come back completely bald or with a Mohawk that is fine with me." BIG mistake. You never tell Zach not to do something, it just gives him ideas of what to do.

So the next morning I didn't even remember him leaving the house. I do remember him waking me up though, with an ugly Mohawk. He slipped and told me that my Mom did it and that she told him she would only do it if he shaved it off in three days.

As most of you know it has lasted more than three days, but I've gotten over it. He likes it and I don't really care anymore. There are bigger and better things to worry about than hair. I love him!!!
