Favorite...

So I am usually not a TV junkie but since we have been able to record and watch at our leisure I have been watching a lot of different things. Last night after work I watched "So You Think YOu Can Dance" and I have to say I LOVE IT!!

Zach says that when he watches it with me he can feel me twitch when they are dancing, and it's because I get that into it. If you haven't seen this show I recomend you watch it. It's a good one!

Cousins...

Rachel and I decided that we should try and get some pictures of our girls for our mom for Mother's Day. We kinda waited until last minute to get them because of work schedules and such which was a huge mistake!! I thought it would be easy because I had taken some pictures of Brooklyn before this but it was still WAY hard. When there are two babies they don't like to look at you at the same time or do anything together! It was crazy but we did get some cute pictures...

Potty, Purse, and Elephant

Brooklyn has started to really love being girly and is often walking around with a purse. On this particular day she was playing with this elephant (it just so happens that it was mine when I was a baby) and her purse and to top it off she was NAKED! I believe we were trying to get her in the tub but she just wanted to play so we let her...

Just a little update on her potty training...
We haven't really been pushing it because she is so little but she has pursued it on her own! She will yell potty and run into the bathroom and want to sit on the big potty so we let her. She has only really went on the big potty maybe once or twice but the fact that she is recognizing that she has to go is awesome! I think she will do great this summer with it, we'll just have to see...

Easter 2009

Easter this year was very fun with Brooklyn. She enjoyed going through her basket and finding the treats that the Easter bunny left for her. She was such a character. You can tell in the pictures she was a little tired still when she woke up but that didn't stop her!!

After we did our own thing at home we headed over to do an Easter egg hunt. Brooklyn liked for a few minutes then all she wanted to do was play on the slide and in the sand. It was fun to watch her run around in the grass and grab the eggs.

~Apples~

She loves APPLES!! As you can tell in the pictures she loves to eat right through them and not even worry about the core. She doesn't like the skin much though. She will take bites of the skin and pull them out of her mouth and hand them to who ever is the closest. If no one is around she'll make a pile on the table. It's funny.

I know that I said I would get an update on here on Wednesday but the day got away from me and I got WAY too busy. I will try again tomorrow.

Update...Journal Format

Wow it's been forever since I have updated this! So sorry to all of you who follow and are waiting for an update. I plan to get a 'real' update on here on Wednesday, but until then this journal type entry will have to do...

WARNING: This will be somewhat boring!!

Brooklyn...
She is getting her molars!! She is really congested and that doesn't help. She has been talking up a storm lately. I'm loving that I can actually communicate with her with words rather than jsut screaming and pointing. She will try to repeat everything that we say around her and it's a good way to help us clean up our language. She is loving the warm weather and everything that comes with it. She especially loves side walk chalk, bubbles, the trampoline, and just running in the grass. Her favorite food right now I would say is apples (I think because it feels good on her teeth). She is starting to recognize her bodily functions (she telss us "I poop") more and more and I think she'll be ready to potty train this summer. Her hair is getting to be knotty and we've had to start using detangler and she is starting to hate her hair being done.

Zachary...
Still working hard!! He is working anywhere from 5 to 7 days a week and is often so tired he woiuld like to just fall into bed. He accepted a 'managment' type job and is doing well thus far. This job has been great for building up his muscles :) He has pushed for us to reach some of our goals this last month and for that I am really thankful. He is still an awesome Dad and an even greater husband. This morning he even got up and did the dishes and made breakfast :) He has been working on his truck a lot lately trying to get it sanded so he can repaint it.

Brittany...
Still working at BRVH as a clerk and I'm loving it. I am still wanting to go back to school, the timing just isn't right right now. I'm loving being a mom it's so fun to take Brooklyn outside and watch her explore. I am also loving beign a wife, Zach makes it easy for me. I am hating my housework (especially the laundry). I am NOT pregnant. I had a good mother's day. I am BORING!! :O)
