I think I am having a bad day. Actually I know I am. I am feeling like there is no hope for my house. I wish there was a fairy that could come and just wave her wand and make it all better.
The front room is currently a wreck, covered in Christmas decor that I have no idea where to put. I have no motivation to even get Christmas stuff out. I would be fine if it sat in the tote until next year when I feel more in the spirit of the holidays (or at least I hope).
The kitchen. It's also a mess. There are dishes in the sink, and that really bothers me. I hate dishes in the sink. They would be in the dishwasher but it's full of clean dishes that I don't care to put away. The floor is covered in dog hair, mud, and whatever Brooklyn ate last, and I just swept and mopped Sunday night. The table has crap on it. The desk is covered in even more crap (I did however move half the crap down stairs to the office). The mail is all over the bar/counter because for some reason we still don't have a method down as to how to sort it, and when I say we I mean Zach, he's the one who always gets the mail.
My Room. Laundry, laundry, everywhere and not a single thing to wear! And I will leave it at that.
The girls room. I don't even want to walk in there because I know with out a doubt that Brooklyn has toys everywhere. Laundry is everywhere. And I just cleaned their room Sunday night as well.
The basement. It is probably the cleanest because we rarely go down there unless we have company. We haven't had company in weeks, and its a good thing because of how messy the rewst of the house is. The toy room is always a bit cluttered, but I don't mind that. The laundry room is slowly getting better. The office you can barely walk into because I had to tear the closet apart to find the above mentioned Christmas decor that I don't know why I bothered pulling out in the first place. (Just noticed my punctuation sucks and I don't even care to fix it, which isn't like me.)
I would rather be at work where there are housekeepers to get the cobwebs, sweep, vacuum, and wipe counters. People put things back where they belong. People say thanks when you organize something and appreciate what you do to keep the place looking nice.
Did I mention the dogs have basically ruined my house? Gunner chews everything! He has chewed the corners of the walls and the molding. Good thing we will probably live here the rest of our loives becasue it'll never get fixed. Kiwi has started having accidents again. There is dog hair everywhere and because of the dog hair my vaccum broke. I get to buy a new vaccum on Saturday, what a waste of christmas money.
I feel so overwhelmed with stuff that I don't even know where to start to get back on track. I feel like I run 500 miles an hour to stay caught up and it doesn't even work, what a waste.
Well I think I will get off my soap box/pitty party and quit writing, this isn't doing anybody any good....

Thankful....
So as you have noticed I haven't posted my "Thankful Post" yet. I guess this year I have just had a hard time thinking about everything that I should be thankful for. It wasn't until today that I thought, how lucky am I? So I'm going to share some of what I am thankful for...
My job. I have an awesome boss who backs me up 100%. My boss understands my family situation (having young kids) and can be totally flexible when I need her to be. She puts me in charge and makes me feel important. I am also thankful to have a job that compensates me well, gives me PTO, holidays, and has health care benefits as well.
Family.
I am thankful for my two girls. They teach me new things every single day. I am thankful for their health, happiness, and the spirit they bring into our home.
I am thankful for my husband who does more for me than he realizes. I am thankful he has a good work ethic and is willing to work hard to provide for us. He is always there for me when I need a shoulder to cry on or someone to just talk to. Even though we have had a rough year, I am proud to say he is mine.
I am thankful for my Parents and my sisters. My parents bail us out so much, I have no idea how we would survive with out them. They let us borrow vehicles, babysit (for free), lend us tools, teach us how to take care of stuff, and love us unconditionally. My sisters are the best sisters I could ask for. Each one of them has taught me something different this year. I am especially thankful for their willingness to help me with my little ones, I know I can always count on them for a helping hand.
Zach's parents and sister. They are always just a phone call away. I don't know what we would have done without them this past year. They were seriously life savers when I was pregnant and extremely emotional and difficult to deal with. Its nice to know that they are there for us when we need them.
Extended family. I am thankful for all the support we get from our extended family. This year I am especially thankful for an Aunt who is willing to babysit our girls. It is so nice to know that my girls are safe and with some one who I know has a happy home. They are always happy when I pick them up and are always well taken care of.
Friends. I am thankful for the friends that have stuck by our side through the thick and the thin. The ones who keep in touch even though life is busy and hectic at times.
My home. Even though I hate cleaning it, and curse that it's too big, I am thankful for a place we can call our own. It provides refuge from a harsh world, brings us comfort, and keeps us warm.
The list goes on and on.........

Oh Boky...
She is three, but she acts much older. She has been saying and doing some of the funniest things...
When she gets mad she tells us that she is going to tell on us. We ask who she is gonna tell and she usually says her other parents.
She bonked her head two days ago and after I got her calmed down I asked her if she was ok, her reply was, "I'm ok, my brain just got shaked."
She asked Zach the other day while she was in the bathroom, "Can you hear my pee noise? Its gross dad it sounds like pee and it stinks."
Zach was listening to his music and she told him that his music messes up her style.
I got a text from Zach the other day. It read "I was being dead and she grabbed me by my ears and headbutted me under my eye. Good news, I will never be dead again!"
Dora was telling Boky "Help me jump, crouch lower." Brooklyn's reply was "Stupid Dora, I can't go any lower because I'm not a real frog!"
She keeps doing "nastics" (gymnastics) on my bed and a couple nights ago we were sharing a cinnamon roll on a plate on my bed. She wasn't paying attention and scooted back to far and did a back flip off the bed onto her face.
When we are driving in the car she always says, "Mom, play MY song now." which means I get to listen to Katy Perry's "California Gurls" a million times.
She has learned how to do her splits and likes to show EVERYONE. Thanks aunt Jade for showing her how.
She is becoming quite the artist! She can do hearts and the letter B (they look identical) her big thing right now is drawing jelly fishes.
She has obviously watched too much Sponge Bob because now she calls hamburgers Krabby Patties.

Boky's Third Bday
Yes it's official, I'm the mom of a THREE year old!
Brooklyn's Birthday was November 7th. We had an extremely small get together with her grandparents and most of her aunts. She loved being the center of attention and had a very Happy Birthday!
Here are a few pictures and then a little slideshow :O)

Car...

Well we did something fun and out of my comfort zone this past week... we traded in the suzuki for a dodge caliber. It's a fun little thing, but I don't think it is much bigger than our suzuki which was why we wanted a different vehicle. That's ok though, it has way better miles on it and is in better shape. Oh, it's also an automatic. I have never owned an automatic, other than Zach's truck that I rarely drive because it's too big for me. Funny story... when I went to pick up the girls after work I was all panicked that I couldn't get the key out of the ignition. I thought to my self, oh well, I'll be right back they can stay in the ignition and I'll worry about it when I get home. Well after I picked up the girls and got them in I went to start it and it wouldn't start! I was on the phone with Stef, who reminded me that it has to be in park in order to start it!!! Can you believe I left it in drive? I am so silly. Now I will know next time!

Halloween!
This year is was Tessa's first halloween and Brooklyn's second halloween. When we were getting ready and planning out their costumes Brooklyn told me she wanted to be several different things but she finally decided on a butterfly and insisted that baby sister needed to match. So I got on line and got shopping and viola! Old navy butterflies! Didn't get the freatest of pictures but here ya go...

Aunt Jade-O, Boky, and Tessa.
This was before we went out and trunk or treated and when we got there it started to rain :( BOO! Brooklyn and Jade were determined to make it to all the trunks but I toook Brooklyn and ran to the car where Aunt Jamie was sitting with Tessa (thanks Jamie, I owe you).
After the trunk or treat we went to Grandma Pam's (it's tradition) and when the rain stopped the kids went out trick or treating a little more, thanks to Grandpa James for taking Boky.
All in all it was successful, and by that I mean Brooklyn got WAY to much candy. It's funny though because she will go through her candy and take a bite and if she doesn't like it she passes it to me or Zach. I think we have eaten the majority of it, she is a picky candy eater!
