Digital Scrapbooking

Okay all you digi scrappers... I want to know what program you use, what you like about it, and why you would suggest I buy it. I want to get into it but I am afraid I'll buy the program and hate it, thus I want your input!! I have tried one of the programs (I won't say which) and it seems to have too many buttons and too much to do...

Kitty....

This past Thursday and Friday we went and spent some time in Salt Lake with Zach's family. We had a great time but it never seems like we are there long enough to spend enough time with each person. We got to see everybody but not for very long. I always feel like we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off when we are there and trying to see everybody... oh well. It was nice to spend time since we haven't been there forever.

When we left on Thursday we decided to take Legacy Highway, and I have to agree, it ROCKS!! It cut time off of our trip by a lot, or it felt like a lot. We made it there in no time and Brooklyn was great on the way there.

We got to spend time with Grandma G, G-Grandma Day, and Jeremy the most. But it was good to see Grandpa G, Amanda, G-Grandpa Day, G-Aunt Mindy, G-Uncle Mark, Tyler, Devin, and Jer's Parent's. We even got to see everybody at the bowling alley (long story) and that was fun to see a few familiar faces in a public place.

Thanks for letting us invade the past few days, we will gladly return the favor if you guys make it up this way...


These are some pictures that I got when we were at the Barger's (Mindy, Mark, Devin, and Tyler). They have lots of animals and Brooklyn loved the Kitty. Here are some funny pictures of her and Tabby. You can't really tell but Tabby is ready to have babies any day now and she was still so patient and so good with little Brooklyn.

I really didn't get any other pictures which makes me sad, but I'm hoping Tammy will get some pictures on her blog (hint, hint, wink) ;)

Brooklyn is starting to give hugs and kisses and I'm loving it. I can tell that we show a lot of affection by how affectionate she is with us. I think it's great!

Nothing is better than when we are playing and she smothers me with kisses (even though they are super slimey!) She is becoming quite the little girl. This particular time she wouldn't give me any kisses but leaned in and gave me a hug. So SWEET!

Nighty Night!!!

What happens when Zach watches Brooklyn while I'm at work!

Zach said that they were playing and she wanted on the couch then she started to lay down and next thing she was asleep!!
Lately she's been having hard time sleeping in her own bed so I guess she is getting really exhausted and this is the result of it all.
Does anyone have an idea as to why she has all of a sudden stopped sleeping in her bed? She has been doing so well and going to bed on her own but the last 4-5 days she will not sleep in her bed, how do we fix it??

DONE!!!

So my CNA class is finally over!!! I just have to go take my state test's now and I'll be done!! It is so nice to not worry about homework and it will be nice to be home a few extra nights a week(until I decide what to do with my life and go back again).

I also want to send a HUGE thanks to my family for all the encouragement and help with Brooklyn. I can't do anything with out you!!!

Bad News...

All my zoo pictures got deleted somehow. I'm very bummed out. I will see if I can get a copy of the pictures that Tammy took or ask her to post them on her blog...

Oh Deer!!!

If you are a hunter or have recently talked to Zach you would know it's deer hunting season. Zach drew on two different tags (one doe-muzzle loader, one buck-regular I think) and Yesterday was the beggining of the doe hunt. My dad and him have been horrible to drive with because they were/are constantly looking for deer but it has payed off. Yesterday Zach got off work at 1730 and had his deer by 1835. I was shocked when he called me. Here are some pictures of the deer they had been stalking (is that the right word?) and the last one is with him and the deer he shot (not for little eyes)...

Boky's Hat

Grandma G gave this necklace to Brooklyn when she came up to watch her one week, and Brooklyn loves it. She doesn't really like it on her neck but she like to swing it around and carry it and chew on it!

On this particular day we had ran to Walmart to get some groceries and we happened to find this cute little beanie that fit her perfect. She doesn't like to wear it much either though. We wanted to get some pictures so here they are...
