We had such a great day on Wednesday, Brooklyn was born.
We nervously arrived at the hospital at 07:00 Wednesday ready to get our little girl here. We were taken back to labor room #2 (The same room I was born in :)) and the nurse started getting us ready. She went through all the usual questions (medical history, weight, height, etc) then got me hooked up to all the little monitors.
She monitored me for a little while before starting the pitocin (the medicine that makes the contractions start) and then we were off! It felt like it was taking all day because I wasn't moving along very fast but once I was at a 5 things went way fast!!!
Labor was not near as bad as everyone had made it seem. The contractions were horrible until I got my epidural but after that I was so relaxed! I only had to do four sets of pushes (which took about ten minutes), it went so fast!!!
We are so happy she is here! I will be posting a ton of pictures for you all to see (you'll be able to tell she is our first baby).

Congratulations! I still can't get over her beautiful hair - I love it! She is so cute, I am so glad that she is here.
Yes, please post lots and lots and lots and lots of pictures! I will never ever get sick of pictures.... impossible!

Brookyn is sooo adorable!! I can't believe the lil baby is saw almost 21 yrs ago is now a mom!!! You two will be great parents! keep those pictures comin!!! :-)
Pictures are a good thing. And guess what? When you have #2 and #3 and so on there will still be plenty of pictures, just with more little Groves in them!! We're so happy for you guys!!
