Yesterday was my mom's birthday!!! She turned the big 40!
Zach and I took the girls while Mom and Dad went to dinner and shopping in Layton. While we had the girls we made a cake for Mom (better than anything cake) and played the Wii! It was a blast. Then when Mom and Dad got back we sang happy birthday and enjoyed the cake.

Yes we made her blow out FORTY candles. It was fun.
I must say that I really look up to my mom. Everyone kept asking her if she was freaking out because it was her 40th birthday and she just replies No. She enjoys aging and everything that comes with it (Grandchildren, gray hair, etc.). She is a great example to me and everyone else in my family. She is always putting family first, because that is what matters most. Happy Birthday MOM!!!

Brittany and Zach thank you so much for the party. I had fun watching you light 40 candles. It took you longer to light them than it did for me to blow them out. I had a great birthday and yes as Brittany said I do enjoy getting older with it comes many great joys. I love my family and they are the most important part of my life!!
WOW I can not believe your mom is that "old" :0) I can not imagine how I will feel in 10+ yrs when I too am 40! HEE HEE-- You are nice to make your mom a cake!
