Not quite sure how to feel tonight as I lay here next to my little Brooklyn and we watch cartoons and just relax. Soon there will be three of us sitting here (trying to) watching cartoons and cuddling. Am I going to be sufficient enough to be a mom of two? How will I handle it when they both need me right that minute? Will I be patient enough? Will they love each other? Will Brooklyn be mad at me for bringing home a new baby?
So many questions.
Don't get me wrong, I am VERY excited to meet my new little one, just nervous about all the unknowns. I can't wait to see her little face, hold her close to me, dress her, bathe her, wake up and have one on one mommy time at odd hours in the night.
Wish us luck as we welcome our newest addition

Britt, I loved reading this because I remember having all those feeling before I had Morgan! I wouldn't get Rylee to myself, she would have to share us with a sister! then, when Morgan arrived, it was like she just fit right in. I know you have adjusted well and are doing great! I am so happy for all of you!
I love that you were thinking so deeply into what motherhood is all about. You are a great mom!!
