I had so much fun making cookies this holiday season. I don't know why I don't make them more often, they aren't that hard. Brooklyn loves making them too, mostly because of the flour and the stirring but hopefully I can spark an interest in cooking and by the time she is a teenager she will be able to make dinner ;)
Recipe for the best sugar cookies ever (modified because I didn't write the recipe down word for word)
Ingredients: 3 1/4 cups flour, 1 tsp soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup butter, 1 egg, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 cup sugar.
Mix flour, soda, and salt in a small bowl.
Mix bitter, sugar, egg, and vanilla in large bowl and cream for 2 minutes.
Scrape bowl and add sour cream and half of the flour mix, blend for 2 minutes.
Add the rest of the flour mixture.
Roll out to approximately 1/4 inch thickness and use cookie cutter.
Cook on greased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
Let cool, frost, and decorate!

Are these the some ones you and little b brought over? If so, they were AWESOME!
Thanks for posting the recipe!
Yep, they are one of my favorites to make because I can't screw them up too bad.
