What a month. It’s so crazy with all the holiday planning and fun.

I went back to work on the 22nd for the first time since I’ve had Brooklyn. It was so sad to leave her that first night but I did ok knowing that her Daddy would be bringing her to me every few hours for a visit. It’s also kind of nice to be back in the adult world. I didn’t realize how much I missed it. I loved being at home with the baby, but I think I forgot that I needed adult conversation and interaction in the world. It’s been great to be back.

Zach goes back to work on January 2 for the first time since December 19th. It has been so nice to have him at home with me and with Brooklyn. They have gotten a lot of Daddy daughter time and I have enjoyed the personal time. I do have to say though that it will be nice to have him back to work so we can be on a better schedule.

We have has such a fun time being with family and friends this year and sharing our little baby girl. I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has welcomed us into their homes this holiday season, we have had a blast spending time with all of you.
